I tried looking it up and everything. even tried ohm meter...nothing! I'm very frustrated to this point. No vtec makes me sad Please help !!! thanks guys!

Maybe the silicone you put in, is blocking the vtec solenoid filter, and is not getting oil.

Well test the pressure switch for continuity, triple fkn check your wiring, DONT USE GHETTO CRIMPS FOR ENGINE HARNESS WIRING. Please solder and heatshrink.

You would connect an oil pressure gauge to the hole in which number 21 blocks(lower left corner).
Just take out the plug, and screw in the oil pressure gauge. You can get a cheap mechanical one from auto zone/ napa/ etc. Once the gauge is connected, turn on the car and increase revs until you see pressure. It should have little to no pressure until about 5.5k if I remember right. Sorry I don't have my helms in front of me to give the exact procedure.

i forget if theres any seals in the spool valve that the carb cleaner you used could damage...that would explain it working sporradically..first check the spool valve for any crap like the silicone getting in there...then make sure your wires and switch are good, and lastly check your pins on the computer

hey man, i got a h22a swap in my 92 si, and my vtec didnt work for a while, i bought i new pressure switch for 50 bucks and that didnt do it, i also had a code 22, pressure switch, i checked continuity to the switch, and all the wiring, and it ended up being the connection to the ecu, i used a paper clip to get contact and my light went off!!1 VTEC haha but got a dui and cant drive for another month so the lude is resting, u want to get a shop or dealer manual for a honda and they go through step by step how to trouble shoot the vtec. if ur still having problems, and u have checked all connections, oil pressure and pan, ecu connections and warmed ur car up i would check out ur ecu or try a new pressure switch, if u cant borrow one from someone ill send u my e4xtra one if u want to see if that is ur problem. ull figure it out dont worry, u will feel so good when its fixed tho i was frustrated as hell

P28? you might want to try a p72 because the p28 doesn't allow the secondary runners in the intake manifold to open.

Or it could be your out of oil or your oil pressure switch is bad.
