Default Bad starter???

Whenever, I leave the key on the "2 Postion" for a minute or longer, to listen to music and when im ready to go, my car won't start. Everytime this happen I will have to wait 10 or 15 min for it to start up normal agian. When I pop my hood open and try to start it, I can hear a clicking noise coming from the starter.
Is it a bad starter?

Thanks

When you start the car up hook a volt meter to it so you can check to see if the alternator is charging properly. You need to put a load on it as well so turn your headlights on and your ac on. If the alternator is good then you have got a bad battery.

Batteries will regain a little more charge on their own after a bit of time. Try listening to your music with the car running or on a portable stereo
