I just bought a 93 Dx and i wanted to cut off the roof off of an Si shell that i also own...
I was jus wondering on how to remove the roof off the Si, wut has to be cut??
i was thinkin of cuttin under those two black strips on the toip of the roof...

everything else i will leave for the body shop to do...

if your talking about just moving the roof skin then yes you cut down under the black strips.

 

well do i need anything else besides the roof skin??

Trying to add a sun-roof is a lot more difficult due to a lot of little issues. One is adding the drain lines (not as easy as it may sound!!). There is wiring that has to be added and routed through the body cavity adjacent to the windshield. There are also brackets that have to be accuratly added to the body framework adjacent to the top of the doors that supports the sun-roof panel.

The outter skin is the easy part.

It's not easy!!
