I just bought a 93 Dx and i wanted to cut off the roof off of an Si shell that i also own...
I was jus wondering on how to remove the roof off the Si, wut has to be cut??
i was thinkin of cuttin under those two black strips on the toip of the roof...

everything else i will leave for the body shop to do...

You hafta take off the black strips on ur roof, remove the plastic tabs that hold em in place, get a wire brush and run it along there, there should be caulking coming off, once the caulking is off the edge of the roof is visible, clean it up some more, remove the spot welds, take an impact hammer to the edge between the roof and 1/4 panel and very very carefully start giviner. If the impact hammer is too powerful simply do it by hand, grab a flathead wit a wide end and a hammer and start dividing the 2 panels, but be very careful, i did this 2 remover my 1/4 panel and got trigger happy with the impact gun and i had a fun time hammerin n dollyin my roof edges back into shape.
