Default Question About Quick Release Steering Wheel Hubs

Im a little paranoid about driving my CRX around due to the amount of thefts you hear about and the rising amount of theft in my area. The last thing that I want is someone to jack my CRX from me. I was thinking about layering security for it and was thinking about a quick release steering wheel hub for my car.

I have a Mugen steering wheel on my car and know nothing about hubs or anything like that. Anyone have any suggestions on brands of hubs that work on the EF platform and will work with a Mugen steering wheel so that if I have to leave my car in a place for an extended period of time I can pop off the steering wheel and take it with me?

Here is my steering wheel if it makes any difference at all.

Thanks,

Anyone have suggestions on a good brand or anything of that nature? That was kinda the point of this thread.

I paid $190 for my SignalAuto QR, but then I realized I could have got the SAME type of QR for like $80, by NRG

NRG's seem to be the best bang for the buck. They can be had for $50 on ebay and i havent seen any complaints about them. Many people seem to have them and are thoroughly pleased with them.

anyone got their horns to work with the quick release set-ups? most of my buddies have the nrg/momo set-up, and are pleased with the quality, but nobody has gotten their horns to work

he already has a "hub", so all he would need is a quick release. i suggest a http://www.nar-spec.one , or an nrg.

i am currently using a FET quick release in conjunction with my FG360. i decided on using the FET because it's pretty thin compared to most of the quick release hubs currently out on the market. i've also wired up my horns to work.

im also running the FET quick release on my car. just like aries said, it's thin compared so most of the others. it's also a twist lock which isnt suppose to wear out as quickly as a ball bearing quick release.

I one quick question, not worth making a new topic...You cant pass inspection with a aftermarket steering wheel right? So do you have to go under the table like you would for emissions or what?
