Ok I know the more positive offset you have the closer your wheel sits in the wheel well. Now I have a 97 Civic Ex, which I plan to either run the Eibach Pro-kit or the Sportline, probably end up with the Pro-Kit. So that will be about a 1.5" drop up front. I am going after some 16x7's Rota Slipstreams with a standard 205/45/16 (what they call for in the plus sizing book) but I dont know which offset to get. Its 40mm, 45mm, or 48mm. I would like the wheels where the stock ones are now. Not really tucked but not sticking out. Not a track car obvisouly, just a daily driver. The biggest concern is rubbing but I dont think I will with this mild of a set up. So any help you can offer is wanted. I want to make sure I get the right setup before I order.
i think the 40mm would be good. Call JLB motorsports and they'll make sure you get the right wheels....link in my sig

I have been talking to them and they reccomend the 40mm or 45mm, Would the 40mm pretty much sit flush with the side if the car and the wheel/tire?
Edit: What is the STOCK offset on a 97 Civic Ex with a OEM size of 185/65/14?
