Default Simple Question D15B OBD1 Harness vs OBD0 Custom

I have just purchased a JDM D15B Vtec and have an 90 USDM D15B2 (DX) sitting under my hood. I am doing the swap myself, but am having difficulty deciding on whether I want to use a 92-95 Vtec harness and just converting the vehicle to OBD1 or sliding the D15B back to OBD0 to work with my car's existing hardware.

The Question is:
Would it be easier to just swap the harnesses and use the OBD1 harness & ECU and convert the car to OBD1, or should I modify my DX/STD harness and go totally custom retaining OBD0?

Be forwarned, I am NOT familiar or comfortable chopping a harness and modifying it. I would much rather prefer the easiest swap over modifying anything if possible (I will be using an 89 CRX Si transmission for this purpose, same mounts and linkage, can't go wrong).

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it!

I already know about rywire (not a place I would prefer to do business with), I have a problem paying somebody for something not neccessarily required. I know they have the kit to convert http://rywire.com/store/produc...2d59f , but it costs $300 plus it requires me to provide an OBD1 harness and an EF/ED HF/Si harness.

I can get a complete EG OBD1 harness (EBay, $5, I just looked it up) and appropriate ECU for way less than even a crappy condition HF/Si harness, hell I already have the OBD1 injectors and O2 sensor (came with the motor). Will getting the EG harness be less expensive, less time consuming, and less stressful than having somebody I do not trust make a harness for me out of hacked up parts? (sorry, not a fan of rywire, long story, and I will not badmouth them here)

The thing is that you said you're not comfortable chopping a harness and modifying it.And if you want to use the eg engine harness in your car, it is going to require some wiring skills..

As I am the uneducated one with this subject... How would using am EG harness be any more/less difficult than ditching my STD harness? WHat kind of mods would I have to do to the EG harness? I thought it was plug and play as long as I used the appropriate engine, ECU, sensors...
