Default Would anyone be interested in my jdm black housings?

i have a set of jdm black housing headlights sitting in my room...BUT here's the catch. when i got them shipped to me, it looked like the postal service played soccer with the box. as a result, even though they were wrappedup, a small piece of the corner lens cracked off. it's not THAT bad, and i'm waiting on word for a replacement (the guy did send me a replacement, but it was for the wrong side...add on to this comedy of errors). i've emailed him again, but i haven't heard anything for like 2 days. so w hat i'm thinking of is seeing if anyone is interested in buying them and then taking that money and trying to get another set. this is just a feeler to see if anyone would be interested in them. i'm not looking to make a killing, just enough of my money back to reasonably afford another set. the drivers side is pristine - it's the passenger side that has the small crack.

posting a pic would probably help your cause.

how deep is the crack? is the headlight going to fog up?

well i had put the link to my webshots page because they won't allow me to link directly to their site to put up my pics in the thread. i don't know how else to do it. same with geocities. the cracked piece runs vertical, not horizontal, and from the very end of the corner piece. it's probably about 1/2 inch wide at the most and i don't think that it comes "in" past the gasket. i'm guessing that condensation, etc isn't going to be a problem...

well i paid about $450 for them and they were never installed. the driver's side is fine as well, so i'm looking for anywhere in the neighborhood of like $300-$350. again, not trying to make a killing, just trying to re-coup enough to get another headlight or pair if i have to. but then again, i'm entertaining any reasonable offer. you can email if you want: abaek5@hotmail.com, since i don't get a chance to log on all that much during the day.

They should have been shipped insured. Since you recieved the package in that condition and the fact the lens was broken, this should be disputed with the post-office. There is no point you losing money selling a set of lenses you just bought. Take it back to the PO and file out a damaged goods form.
The guy did send you a replacement, even if its the wrong side, he is at least trying. Just return to sender and CALL the guy.
