problems starting my car....AGAIN!
hi a week or two ago i posted i had a problem with starting my car. it would start but rpm would drop all the way to 0 then turn off. when that happened my CEL came on and that was the first problem i have ever found with my 2000 accord ex v6. the CEL reads all 6 cylinders are misfiring, but after that my car ran/started fine. someone(forgot who) said since it ran fine i should just reset the CEL light and forget about it, but yesterday the exact same thing happened again, but it is fine now. is there something i should be worried about?
How many miles do you have on the car? Could be spark plugs. How often do you drive the car? If not often then I guess that would be the problem also, since some of the stuff hasn't been used for awhile.
check your ignition module. are the 2000+ accords DIS? Check to see if your car has a recall regarding the ignition switch and if it has been done.
i have 73xxx miles on my car and i drive it everyday. there are no recalls on my car and should i just have all 6 spark plugs replaced? i know its not normal for all 6 to go out at once
there are recalls for the accord but the ignition switch is not one of them

yes i live in the bay area and it has been very cold at night recently. come to think of it, all the times it had problems starting was when it was cold. i dont think ive ever had my spark plugs changed.

never hurts to try this out. it actually happened to one my customers. I pulled the plugs cause she had a hard time starting the vehicle. I had already replaced the main relay a few months ago, it was slightly cracked. I had a hunch to pull the plus and they were VERY wasted, the gap was HUGE and fouled.

A very common cold start problem is that the fuel pressure needs to be up to snuff before cranking the engine; this allows the injectors to put out a fine mist as opposed to a low pressure drizzle. Try to always let the CEL go out before cranking the engine; as in, turn the key on then put on your seat belt, then crank the engine. Spark plug replacement might also help you
