Wheel balance needed?????
A few weeks ago I noticed some unfamiliar road noise traveling on the highway. It sounds like a faint WAWAWAWAWAWA traveling at speeds of 40 and up. The car has no pull to either side so I don't think it's the alignment. Would you recommend taking the wheels in for rebalancing? I'm riding on the stockers with Kumho 712's.
Any advice???
TIA,
Chris

balance shouldnt cause a noise, it causes a vibration...
the noise you are hearing is prolly your tires being cupped...
I would take a look at them and see if they are wearing smoothly

I did check the tires and they seem to be wearing evenly. I do rotate often. If not a wheel balance problem, what else might it be? Something suspension related?

hmm..
posibly a bearing?
a bearing is easy to check for...
drive along where it is making the noise...
swerve left, then swerve right...
if it is a bearing, the noise will not be present when you turn in 1 of the directions
(unless both are bad)
