i found a b18c5 complete for 3000... it has the red valve cover... i think they make 210hp and redline @8950rpm, it seems like an awesome deal. is there anything to do to a type R engine to make it any faster as an "all motor" engine? i think it will fly in a crx...opinions appreciated

I dont think that you will have the money for a brand new engine. If you bought a b18 from the dealer brand new completely assembled it would be over 7,000 dollars. why dont you just buy a used JDM engine?? there is nothing wrong with JDM engines. Matter of fact that are usually sold with low miles anyway. You can get them all over the place.
