what primer to use
ive been searching but i was wondering what primer do we use to paint rims??? does it really matter what kind of primer?? cause ive seen theres some for automotive and i dont want to pay much for primer... thanks
There should be a recommended primer listed on your can of paint. Check to see what your paint asks for.

You get what you pay for, if you really cheap out your paint might start lifting off.

well i got dupli color engine enamel low gloss black paint.. and i read my can and it says that engine primer but the thing is that i aint putting it on my engine im putting it on my wheels.. so what to do now?? but then at walmart i saw some pretty decent primer for automotive.. its liek 3 bucks a can... worth getting?
I would probably stick with engine primer. Your walmart stuff probably can't stand heat. Rims can get pretty hot from time to time.
Try contacting the customer service reps at dupli
