Toyo's seem to be the better choice but lemme know your opinions. I'm not looking for something too extreme in grip levels. Just something good. Thanks ahead!

The Toyo T1-R's are a level above the ES100 in terms of performance. They are also cheaper on that site as well. I would go with those. I've had those T1-R's in the same size since last August and they are great for street driving. I live in Seattle and it has been raining non-stop for 25 or so straight days and the tires kept on the road very well, but you shouldn't have to deal with any rain down there. For the price, the tires are a good deal.
If you really wanted the ES100's you should order them from discounttiredirect.com so you won't have to pay the cali sales tax that you have to on onlinetires.com and it has free shipping.
For the ES100 you will pay less for shipping if you order from the tirerack.com and no tax as well. But they dont have Toyo's. And you can have them for $59 each.
I just bought some ES100 over a 2weeks ago and they are a big upgrade from the Kuhmo 712 I had previous.

I agree.
In most sizes, the T1-R is considerably more expensive than the ES100. However, onlinetires.com has had a special on this particular size T1-R that makes it similar in price to the ES100.
