Hey i am in the Riverside (951) area right now and a rock cracked my windshield the other day...

Any1 in the area no where i can get a cheap windshield replacement???

Please HELP

 

Usually insurance covers replacement since it is a hazard to you and other drivers. Just make sure they use the factory glass. Over in FL, the companies who do the replacement offer a box of steaks just for business lol.

You might want to check the yellow pages under AUTOMOTIVE. There should be some vendors that will drive out to your work or home and change your windshield on the spot. It usually takes an hour to do, but as for pricing definitely call couple of shops to compare prices. Some vendors might charge $20-30 less than the next guy.

Make sure what your insurance policy says about the deductible for glass replacement. Mine, for example, has had a $300 deductible for glass, so my replacement windshield came out-of-pocket.

Which reminds me -- I need to call them up and change it to zero deductible...
