where is the serial #

 

Not sure why it doesn't have a serial number.
I know it sounds shaddy, but as you can see from that pic I'm not trying to hide anything and the portion underneath the engine code has not been altered at all (as you can see from the pic).

I ran a search to see if some JDM engines do not have serial numbers and I couldn't find anything to prove/disprove that.

Forged aluminum, pent-roof type pistons
Piston skirt was made lighter to reduce load on the engine
Molybdenum coating applied to the piston skirts to reduce friction
