my jtuned meet thread
already saw the official pic thread but didn't feel like posting in it because its already 8 pages long
i took a billion pictures but i feel these are the only one's that are at least halfway decent
good to see some regulars out there (aries, mike shin..) mods feel free to move this into that official thread

i have wallpaper size version by request. and before anyone asks: Canon 350D, i used the 18-55mm kit lens and a 75-300mm USM lens.

Nice pics of the meet. You all out there in Cali get the best meets. East Coast blows. Does anyone know what these are on the bumper of the Civic?

They are called Camlocs or Dzus fittings IIRC. You can use them to quickly detach a body panel. You see them on race cars a lot...

I assume you would still have to use the stock screws also right?

i don't use the stock screws on the sides of the bumpers.. behind the dzus fastener there is a weld plate attached to the fender. i use one of these on each side of the bumper, and all the stock fasteners under the hood.. nothing under the bumper..

Yeah, a great alternative to holes and zip ties.
