i was thinkin about gettin the megan racing header and exhaust but my friend has it on his 02 si and its hellaciously loud. and i dont want my car to be that loud. so i was curious about whether or not it is as loud as his car. i know the lude has a bigger engine and all, but goin from his car im thinkin about goin away from that. so if anyone has this setup or even one or the other, let me know please. and how are the power gains? i have pulleys and sri. if you can help me out, please do. thanks

 

megan racing headers are coo. never had it on my prelude, but i did have it on my accord which i bought for $60 bucks. my accord had really good mid-range pick up! especially for that price. but on the loudness side, putting headers in your car will ofcourse make it a bit louder. but depending on what you have after the headers is what determines most of the noise. if u dont care much about making sick power just buy a MRacing headers and run a Apexi WS2 cat-back or a Greddy SP2. but if you wanna run sickkk power headers, look into RMF or SMSP. 2 of the best application for H22's!

 

60 dollar header? Get what you pay for. From what Ive read dont expect gains you can feel from the Megan Racing header.

yea they were used. but over my stock. i felt a gain. might not been 10 or 20 but it did pick up quicker on mid-range.

 

i have the megan header on my lude. it looks good and performs better than stock. but i would not recommend it if you're trying to make a lot of power.
