wiring issues on 91 crx si
91 si crx 89 engine harness with ls swap, car starts and runs great but, only revs to 3000 rpms and a rev limiter kicks in and i was told it was cause of the different yrs of harness's but need some help on figuring out this problem any help would greatly appreciated thanks
nope it's a 91 ls motor, I think that it's because of the different yrs. of harness's, but i am not sure just want to know if anyone has run into this problem and how to fix it?

Do you have a CEL on? If your only revvin to 3K theirs gotta be a Code flashing on the ECU. I don't think just having another harness can do this unless your throwing a CEL.

89 harness out of CRX? I am confused as to why you would use an older year harness in a 91 car that was already MPFI. Not questioning you, just trying to extended my limited knowledge...

Wasn't there some difference between the 1988/1989 and 1990/1991 Civic engine electrical system? Or am I thinking about 1990/1991 Integras being OBD-0 and 1992/1993 Integras being OBD-1...
