Default Nitrous install question..is it dangerous if

yea so is it dangerous if i install the bottle in the car?

i know that nitrous gas if very bad to inhale...but i was wondering aside that is there any other real danger?

now i would like to here from people that really know nitrous...not people who assum that a bottle of nitrous is dangerous in the car...
or those who think nitrous explodes and stuff...this isint propane...you can put a fire out with this stuff..anyway..

thanks let me show you what i mean by in the car install...

Well, it's a lot less sneaky for one. Also, a little of the gas is likely to escape on hot days, and it'll be even hotter with black leather. Don't wanna breathe that in. Also, it's kinda awkward to run the lines through a car with full interior

Put it under your passenger seat bottom with a removable panel yo! fast n furious

He's got enough NAWS to blow himself up!

Seriously though - its in full view of everyone and you're going to put holes in that nice seating to mount a silly nos bottle?

Make something custom to hide it somewhere else I say.

As far as the inhalation of the nitrous - its not going to be significant enough to do any damage whatsoever - unless you haev a leak somewhere on the bottle.

Cars have their own air vents - so the gas won't stay inside the car. If you open teh door, you will notice the vents. Fresh air enters throught he cowl area - goes through the air box - and into the cabin.

Speaking of propane - why don't you run nitrous and propane? If you know what you're doing, you can make a bad *** setup.

a cop once saw my oil pressure gauge and asked, "What's with the nitrous?"

anyway, when a cop sees that, you'll get even less honda love

it has a safety blow off valve so if it does get real hot its gonna pop letting all the nitrous out, which is why you're supposed to have a vent tube that exits the car through the floor.

From experience, one of my good friends had his nitrous bottle mounted like that in his lude for about 6 months till he got rid of it. i rode with him plenty or times and nothing has every happend. we never got high from it leaking (if it was) and nothing ever exploded! it also very convienient to mount it there if u dont have a remote bottle opener. cause u dont have to run to ur trunk in order to open the bottle. the only downside i can see to mounting the bottle there is "sneakyness" and cops busting ur ***** for it. ---> good way of takin care of that is putting it in a gym bag, a little ghetto yes but it works, just get a cheap gym bag and mount the bottle in there and then to the car...

As it was said, use a blow down tube and youll be fine. It does have to be mounted to the body/frame if you wanna do the the strip though

well fellas... i dont want this to sound fast and furious..and if you think its rice or gay well tough...but i really like to see the bottle mounted in the middle..it makes the car look meaner for some reason..especially since us ludes dont get that much respect...if there is no intercooler in the bumper or what not...

other than that..I LIKE IT..so that takes the vote i guess...and no i dont have a remote opener...so ill have to run to my trunk everytime...so fuge it..ill put it in the back... just my parents are so worried that it would explode...

but on the bottle there is no "explosive" sign on it...the only icon on it is a circle and flames on top if it...not sure what it means..but i doubt that a nirtous bottle can explode...

thanks again fellas keep the comments comming

don't worry about it exploding, worry about it coming loose in an accident. make sure its attatched to the car very well.

what kind of system is that?wet or dry?

i would not suggest to put there, before i had nos on my civic and it was there on the back seat, it happens that one time i have to step on the breaks real bad it went to the center console and break the lines and nos was everyware inside the car (good thing i wasnt smoking that time).

i suggest to put it somewhere safe and hide it or else cops will be on your *ss.
