Default B16A1 headers need help! :(

Hello all, I'm really confused about this one so if anyone has some input PLEASE let me know!!!

I have a 2nd Gen '90 CRX with a B16A1 conversion. Currently I have the stock B series headers and i'm looking to replace them with new higher performance ones, but since the "A1" was only JDM, i can't find a listing for crx headers that doesn't reflect the USDM sohc motor!? And I don't want to put on headers that aren't for the new motor. I've heard that all B series headers are interchangeable, but needless to say I'm not sure cuz I've never owned a Honda newer than the early 90's. I would guess the '94 del sol Vtec (B16A2) would be the closest listing, but does anyone know if those headers will bolt right on to an "A1" sitting in a 88-91 engine compartment? I have heard the front crossmember on the 2nd Gen 88-91's is an issue with some 4-2-1 or 4-1 headers. Or does anyone have other suggestions for me? Please any help would be great!!! Thanks GUYS!!!

All B series headers are the same.. just some have a different lenght under the oil pan.

Install the header, then bring to a muffler shop to have it adjusted for the different lenght!

Ran a LS header on a GSR

I'm running a DC 4-2-1 1 peice and it bolted right up to the stock cat. Only problem is I don't think you can get it on with the crossmember on, though mine was already off the car so I can't say for sure. Once both are installed though there is like an inch of clearance so its all good.

oh yeah.. my motor origionally came from my friends DA teg, so I'm fairly sure the header was for that chassis, but I think they are the same for 90-2001 tegs.

So you know, the B16a was JDM only. The B16a1 was UKDM only.. I know as we got the VTEC as standard in our CRX's

So they swapped my ee8 right when it came of the boat???
B16a1 is the european spec B16a... not specifically ukdm.
I know as we got the VTEC as standard in our crx's too... except the ed9's off course

B16A1 is EDM & JDM I think - cause I have one too and I'm not from the UK.

What is correct:
All B series Headers are interchangeable.

BUT:
The A1 is the only maschine with two lambda probe (is that the correct word?)
What you have to do is to weld another holder......

yah my bad, JDM they didn't specify B16A"1" just B16A. But it was the first gen one from 89 to 92 i think?? Anyway's all I knows is we never got em over here!

But yeah, i'm thinking DC 4-1 ceramic. I've heard 4-1 as apposed to 4-2-1 is great on the high end, probably going to have to pull the crossm to get them in tho. Thanks guys!!!
