Hard bumps and really rough roads bad for konis ?

Hard bumps and really rough roads bad for konis ?
I live in san diego and we have ALOT of fucked up roads and alot of pot holes. Is going over bumps really hard bad on the shocks ? I have new konis and dont want to fucc them up, i want them to last for a couple years.

i wouldn't doubt it...i live in detroit and the roads here are pretty bad themselves...i've had my koni's on for almost a year now and there still good...
