how much for a h22 motor swap into cd6? (labor only)
to anyone who had a shop do the h22 vtec swap for them, how much did it cost? would love to do it with my mechanically inclined friends but theyre rotoheads and dont know a thing about hondas. oh and id also be swapping out an auto for a 5 speed. the most i know for that is a left mount kit for the tranny and thats it?
all in all, how much should i be willing to spend on labor and parts not included with the complete motor package, for a h22 5-spd into a 95 accord ex, (with an auto to 5spd), from a decent shop?
(searched all around, found nothing)

If you have friends that are mechanically inclined I bet you they can do the swap your Honda. There's so much information out there to get the swap done. I had 2 of my friends do my swap, 1 of them is a mechanic the other isen't, but still knows quite a bit about cars, they aren't Honda freaks or anything, but like I said if they work on cars and with the right research they will see that it's possible.
if you do it all throuhg a shop, expect to pay in the neighborhood of 4500...
also, you have a CD5 (sedan) or a CD7 (coupe)....CD6's came with an H22 in it from the factory

around here its about 300 old motor out, 300 new motor in + oil/fluids/belts etc.. (assuming that OBD is remaning the same)
with manual conversions i dont know the going rate but i did my manual conversion myself and i wouldnt do it again for anything under 380, but thats just me
