Intake manifold ; quick question

If you look at the picture below ; Does it run coolant in the opening marked with an arrow? Or is it just air that goes through there?

Is it the "idle air" that runs to the IACV?

No, The IACV is on the back of the IM. I believe that is the port for the MAP sensor.

No. That port is for the IACV. The map sensor in on the throttle body.
