well i just swapped in a 93 d16z6 in my 91 crx si and my oil light flickers every now and then...vtec works fine and when i take the oil fill cap off the valve cover i can see oil being slung around.....possibly a bad oil sending unit? what should i check?

I'd put an oil pressure gauge on the car and see what the actual oil pressure is... You may be damaging your engine the more you run it. Don't use the car till you verify the acutal pressure beong produced.

My guess... your pressure relief valve in your oil pump is jammed partially open.

i could be bad wiring... i used to have the check engine light flickering and it was due to faulty wiring.

i'd check that out aswell.
