ok i blew up my USDM OBD-1 gsr motor in my 91 GS. Will a JDM OBD-1 gsr motor plug right up to my existing harness?

 

Are you sure that your usdm motor is toast? What happened?Perhaps you could do a rebuild?

 

well i just want a better motor anyways...BTW us block is for sale!

It will plug right in. They are basically the same setup, except the JDM GSR is 180 hp compared to the USDM GSR which is 170 hp.

i second that. the only differences are power related. thats why jdm engines are more coveted than usdm models. good luck with the search.
