Header and cam Question??????
Hey guys! I have a problem! I have an F20 A7 engine and I want a Cam and set of headers. The problem I am having is I don't know where to get a cam or what header will fit this engine. It's an 95 Accord!
I think what's giving everyone (at least here in the states) the ******* is that they expect to see some varient of the f22 in that chassis, not the f20a7. But then again, We're talking EDM (European Domestic market) arn't we?
Admittedly, I'm at a loss for an immediate answer too. (but I'll try some research for you).
That APO address,,, UAE?

I can well understand your frustration. I've been stymied by every search I've done so far. Everyone (and their mother) lists parts by Chassis Application and most all of it is US-centric. What?, no one bashes cars in Europe? Not one web site with a UK, DM, FR extension.
Despite all that, I haven't quit yet
If I can determine what head it shares (Honda's good for that) I may get a hint on which way this has to go. The USDM and JDM prelude uses F20 variants, so I might try to determine what 'family' of engines the -A7 variant belongs.

Thanks for all the help! I am trying the same search. I have tried all the european models and all the JDM models! I will try to get you the info about the head. Thats something I did not think about. What I think is weird, that this motor was supposed to be in the Accord SiR. I can be wrong though??
Well, although it's not much: the F20A7 is used in the Prelude 2.0i
It "appears" to be a member of an F20 family F20A3 - F20A8 (for example).
What I'm running into is that everything appears to be US-centric, all listing are chassis/mpdel specific (without engine designator)

zigenballz has a jdm f20a. I think it would be similar to your engine. He has delta regrinds for an h23 and it says in the link a chikara header for an f22ax. I think you should be able to use a header from a f22ax or h23. I'm pretty sure the f20a is basically a destroked f22b dohc. You should go get an exhaust gasket for an h23 and see if it will fit.

This is going to be hit or miss? I should just order some header gaskets and see what fits? I should of thought of that!
What about a cam? Am I going to have the same problem?

No. Not on your salery (APO, Remember).
If you get a "hit" on the Exhaust casket gambit, it should be able to determine what application works.
Either that or Buy a New Cam and send it out to be custom ground.

I can probably help out a little...
The only thing I am leery of is the fact that you have a 95 with an A series F20...
Is it the DOHC or the SOHC?
If it 's the DOHC I can tell you all..
but if it's the SOHC then we nee dto proceed a little carefully... if you have the standard F22A1/4/6 exhaust port pattern of 0_0_0_0 then you can use any 90-93 Accord F22A or H23A1 non VTEC header...
If it has the standard F22B1/2 exhaust port pattern of 0_00_0 then you have to use a 94-97 F22B1/2 Header...although you would get to sample the Greddy header which I wish they would make for the F22Ax series...
As far as Cams... if it's the DOHC you can use H23A1 non-VTEC cams which fit just fine... and if it's the SOHC with the aforementioned F22Ax configuration then any regrind for F22Ax series will fit and work rather nicely...
