Default Looking for 98+ OEM-style fog lights

Like the title says, I am looking for some OEM-style foglights but the real OEM ones are like $200 used so I'm trying to find some good-quality not-too-expensive round foglights that are about the size of OEM. Anybody have any suggetions of brands, specific fog lights, or where to look? TIA

*Edit - how big across are the OEM fog lights?

I think the stock ones are more around 3.5" but I'm not sure.

I was looking at those foglights but I'm not sure how it would look because of the silver case edge going around the lense and also how they would like from the side because of the casing. I wanted something that has only the lense visible fron the front and then a black case from the side. Dang I wish I could find a pic of these installed on something.

*edit - you can go here http://www.vwong.org/db8.htm for pics. You can see that the OEM fog lights are just clear lense from the front and then black from the side so that the sides aren't even visible and it looks clean and like a part of the car instead of something that you just stick on their.

i see what you mean, here is a black housed set from Hella http://www.tirerack.com/access...e.jsp

this is one of those things that you might want to just spend the extra $$ to get the OEM kit so your sure you arent pissed that you didnt ge that instead

an oem kit will cost you 208 shipped brand new on ebay. just buy that and you'll be much happier

who would regret buying these bad boys?

They're worth every penny, if you don't have HID, because they illuminate the ground very very well.

Yea it's tempting but $200 is kinda a lot for foglights for me right now. I don't even have a job yet, I will be getting my FIRST job in a month or two if I can find one haha Plus not just that but I could find a better use for $200, like going towards wheels and tires or an exhaust at least. I don't know, maybe I'll just have to wait a while, save up the money, and get OEM but I'll keep looking for something else cheaper.

Anybody got anything else to say/show?

*EDIT - I just got a new car and am getting a job soon too so I'm working from the bottom up with just the basics... that's why I'm talking about wheels/tires and exhaust. Don't automatically assume that because I'm young and am talking about getting rims and exhaust that I am a ricer or don't know what I'm talking about.

Well its much bettter to take your time and get what you really want by saving up for it because in the end you will be much happier instead of just settling for something quick and cheap.

Good luck with the job and the mods, but from what I see. Modding cars was never a cheap sport, so you gotta expect to spend a bit of green. Because in most cases you get what you pay for.

here's how they illuminate (and i have hid's so these fogs basically are just for cosmetics, only turn them on in the fog or rain )
