the mystery is that i just brought an 02 si from work, and it has a six speed tranny i haven't look at the engine code yet but i think it could have rsx-s swap bc it seems faster than all the other ep's i've driven. Also wanted to know if anyone else had an six speed from the factory.

ps. my buddy said he drove one that had a 6spd, but wasn't sure if it was swapped or not.

the 02 si does not come in six speed from the factory. it has surely been swapped.

I think a lot of us would like to hear more. The six speed from a DC5 will bolt right up to the K20A3 in the EP3, so it's possible that the transmission is the only thing swapped.

 

Yes it is possible to bolt the dc5 six speed trany to the ep3 k20a3. I did it and its a really great mod. I've been with it for 20,000 miles with it now.
