Default Painting trim lines 88-89' Si hatch

Just wondering, what kind of paint/trim tape should I use to paint the trim lines on my 89 Civic HB? Also, what is the proper procedure to painting the trim lines (scotch brite pad, 2000 grit sandpaper)?

Picture of my car here: http://i4.photobucket.com/albu...9.jpg

Referring to the line in the middle of the trim around the car.

Just want to do this right, and now have the paint or tape fade/crack/peel off a few months down the road.

Thanks

Why would you paint them??? The JDM cars have the pin stripe in a sticker form. IF you are in the San Diego area go to Award Master and they will make you a pinstripe sticker.
