Default Heat shield

Hey, i have a 93 accord lx manual,
I have a short ram intake and I was just wondering if I should install a heat shield. I can make one out of some sheet metal. Do you think this is worth my time to install. And for the "cold air" type feel, i can easally run a pipe to the bottom of my car to refresh the air inside the shield with air from under the bumper? I personally think it will pay off. Tell me what you think.
thanks-

Unless you're running your CAI system around the front of the engine to a point near the header (Exhaust Manifold), you will not gain much. Wrapping it in a therno-blanket would gain the same thing.
