i was curious do u like that model car or are u getting it for a real good price?
cuz me pesonally i dont like those body styles or the interior. I rather wait and save for a 94+ up teg.

oh yeah i would doubt there is frame damage

i like that style body...old school hahaha to each there own right? but i would be getting it for 1600 and it has a 93 gsr 5 speed swapped into it and that = same gear ratio to a usdm type r...so i was told...but if not...still 1600. more replies would be appreciated!

unlikely that a pushed up bumper and fender would result in frame damage. So you should be good there! DA's kick ***, you won't regret it. Yeah sure the dc2's are more luxurious and some say the body style is better than the da's. but imo, OG...well 2gOG anyway is pretty damn fun! Have fun with your DA

Yeah, it looks like the core support is a little bent. You either need a new one, or get a body shop to straighten it the best they can.

i dont know about the same as type r question but i know it will pull better than the LS tranny in higher RPMs.i dont think you have major damage, pop the hood and see if and "parts"(radiator,a/c-if equipped, ect) are pushed, could just be the bumper cover.maybe loosen it,line it back up and tighten back up.lol, hopefully it'll be that simple for ya.

I had a GSR YS1 tranny in my 92 teg for about 6 months with my old B18A1. Def was worth it. Sure, cruising on the highway kept you in the higher RPM range, but it was always worth it for the gain of lower gearing. My brothers 91 teg never compared when we raced and whatnot

Oh and from http://www.allmotorhonda.com/t...s.htm

92-93 GSR tranny:
1st: 3.307
2nd: 2.105
3rd: 1.458
4th: 1.107
5th: 0.880
Rev: 3.000
Final: 4.400

USDM ITR tranny:
1st: 3.230
2nd: 2.105
3rd: 1.458
4th: 1.107
5th: 0.848
Rev: 3.000
Final: 4.400

U will not regret your buy....what tranny is in the car ? cuz if it was off a 93 gsr, then you should have had a Y1 OR YS1.

check the stamp on the front.

Either way...i have the headlights and other parts for it if u need it (no hood, no fenders, no bumpers though)

^ Those are some sick DA's

DAs can deffinetely be as clean, if not cleaner then most DCs

Heres a few pics of mine.

you won't be dissapointed, with some TLC and some work that DA will be clean. The DA is the Foundation of honda. First DOHC motor, First one piece style headlights, first car with Vtec. Stick with the 2nd Gen DA; Theres no HONDA without DA
