I have a 5th gen prelude, 5speed none SH. When i am coming to a stop in a slow or fast role my car rattles. It is not a rattle coming from the brakes but like a rattle when the car is about to stall. The car does not stall and when i release the brakes the car stops rattling. Can any body help me ......

what year 5th gen, milage, last time u did a tune-up.

 

check your o2 sensor mine was loose and it would rattle horribly.

 

it sounds like your engine is vibrating a lot. turn on the engine and pop the hood. place your hand on the motor (be careful where you put your hand!) and feel around for abnormally harsh vibrating. if it is your engine, then there are numerous things that it COULD be. you will have to do some investigating on your own though...

 

maybe a heat shield or something under the car is loose. and when your car gets to a certain low RPM it causes it to rattle and make sounds.
