I know that a lot of you ITR guys are running Koni Yellows w/ GC's and I was curious as to where you guys got your Koni Adapters? As you can see, I have Koni Yellows right now, but I'm hoping to get some used GC's in the next few days or so. Let me know......

Just curious, I have a set of Koni yellows yet to be installed (need to find better springs).

How are you finding the Tanabe Super H so far? What spring rate are they, do you know?

Also, do you have any suggestions for springs?

Oops, sorry I didn't reply earlier.....

I got the springs for an extremely low low price. The drop on the springs is about 1.75" and they seem to me to be somewhat soft, but that's just me. I'm not too sure of the spring rate, but if you are interested I would sell them to you. But, since you are installing Koni Yellows, I would definitely get a nice set of Ground Control Coilovers. Many people on the board are running this setup and seem to be very satisfied. E-mail me if you any other questions.

Ground Controls; are they US made? Wouldn't getting coilovers negate the purchase of the Konis? coilovers = shocks + integrated spring right

 

No. A coilover = a coil over a shock. Nothing else. Stock G3 integras all have coilovers. Ground Controls are threaded sleeves that mount to the spring perch (or in koni/bilsteins case the bar/ring that the spring perch mounts to). Zeal S6s are threaded-body coilover where the adjustable perch uses threads on the body itself. Stock coilovers are non-threaded body coilovers.

-Dave, whose pet peeve (well one of them) is using the word "coilover" solely to describe threaded body/sleeve coilovers.

 

Ummm, what I really meant to say was, Ground Control springs with a threaded coil in the middle. =P Honestly though, if you are going to buy a nice set of springs, definitely go w/ a set of Ground Control Coilovers (you know what I mean) just make sure you get the adapters. The best price around seems to be Diablomotorsports.com
