honda prelude transmission
helloo
new to this
i have a 4 or 5 speed transmission i believe is from a 93 prelude but not sure what year is it possible to find a number on it to cross it with a list to find out the year?
I work at a auto repair shop and a kid with a prelude bought a motor and tranny from japan and wanted me to put it in. he ended up droping the motor and cracked the bell a little but it is still operational if so where would i find that list? it has a barcode on the bell housing if that helps i dont know
thanks
any help is much appriceated

there should be a sticker or a plaque on it with the tranny code on it.
if the engine is a h22 vtec, it should be an M2F4.

the P2T4 is an accord h22 tranny apparently.

it may have the t2t4 ratios, but no LSD. the T2T4 is more closely geared than the M2 trannies. you can look up the ratios on the t2t4, m2f4/y4/etc etc in the FAQ at the top of the forum, but the p2t4 is somewhat of a mystery to most of us.
