im looking into getting some hood struts for my 91 crx w/JDM front. i saw it one a car a while back and loved it. i hate the metal prop and want to rid my car of it. anyone have any info on how to do this and what parts are needed?

I thought about doing this... just go and fab something up with rear hatch struts. Should be relatively easy if you can weld, cut metal, etc.

 

yeah but it has to be pretty exact or it wont open/close....

 

Here's a link to a guy who mounted some Pep Boys ones...you could probably modify the installation process for the CRX.
