Want to buy an ef/crx
Hey guys i just sold my eg and ive been wanting to buy an ef hatch or crx.I was wondering about the pros and cons of this generation. My friend was saying the cable tranny, rust, and that there ugly but i love them.Any help will be appreciated
Well, to answer the question...rust can be an issue, but I bought mine rust free (which means more money). If you drop a b series in you can use the hydro trannies, but not with d series, but I don't care. I think my crx is pretty,
, and it's definately cheaper and lighter than the eg/ek crap.

well i would like to buy this car http://seattle.craigslist.org/car/125198752.html and throw in a zc.Are zc motors obd0? and what tranny bolts up to it?
Yes it is obd0. That car would require a wiring/computer upgrade for the zc because of the fuel injection system used. . It's a good light car to use. The zc has a "cable acutated" tranny, so you would need a zc or d series cable tranny.

the easiest swap would be the DOHC ZC (other than a D16A6 Si engine) - ZC bolts right in - any swap (other than the stock engine) on that car will require converting it from Dual Point Fuel Injection to Multi Point Fuel Injection - pretty simple task - any B-series swap will require the swapping out of the front knuckles/hubs since the car is the STD model
