I've been searching all over the Internet to find out how to get the arms on my dashboard to illuminate again. The background information (i.e., tachometer, speedometer, gas, oil, ....) lights up, but the arms that gauge the reading do not. Is there anyway that I can fix this issue? It very difficult to see how fast I'm going in the evening hours when I drive.

I have a 1984 Honda Accord EX. Thanks for any help you can give!

 

I'm not aware that they ever lit up.
Unlike Nissans and some Mitsu's, which manufacture their needles with optical plastic (the stuff Fiber-optic cables are made of) Honda's are of metal and will not transfer light.
