ive got a 5 spd 5th gen prelude and when i first start my car and put into 1st or reverse the trans vibrates for a second and stops. the car is not a SH but im not sure why it does it. but like i said it does it when i start the car every time and put it into gear

my guess would be that u dont have enough fluid in the tranny and when u just first start the car it hasnt circulated everywhere yet. try giving it a flush, see if that helps

 

i did a flush on it when i got it a year ago. it does every time i start the car. i mean if i start it 5 times a day it does my friend and i thinks it some kind of sensor. iit suppoes to do it. any other ideas??? its a 2001
