Default Installing a new headunit into a 91?

I am thinking abut buying this headunit: http://www.walmart.com/catalog...41650

Do I need anything to bolt it into my car? Or will it just go right in? Anyone got a how-to install?

Alright i start from the top.

Yes that deck will bolt in, it's rather simple. You might need a mount kit to fill in the gaps on the side if there are any. If you do have to buy one, get a universial 1 dim, a 2 dim will work but you'll need to cut it (no biggy)

I'm assuming you are talking about a 91 hatchback since thats what is in your sig. You only have two speaker mounts in the car. The both are in the front and they are shallow 6.5's.

Unless of course you have an Si with a cargo cover and speaker mounts in it you only have the front two, but i believe you can fit 5.25's in those or something similar in size.

Hope that sets you off on the right foot.

Although i would suggest a different deck, no a huge fan of sony. Whatever you can afford though.

PS... and wiring.

Actually, the stock mounting cup will accommodate either a standard 6.5 inch speaker or a 5.25 inch speaker. It actually has screw holes for both. As far as depth, the cup does limit depth somewhat. But all you have to do is saw off the back of the cup in order to get more mounting depth. I'm not sure at what point you will get interference with opening the window, however.
