NO BULL ****! does any one have a trailer hitch on there da i am needing one to haul my trailer for my camping and kayaking stuff anyone got some pics

 

Well if your going to be hauling stuff with a zc motor, I hope your trip is level or downhill.If not i would suggest borrowing a vehicle a little more suitable for hauling stuff.

its a 92 ls with a b20

 

my landlord hauled a 16 foot johnboat with a 250 lb motor in a 1.6mazda 323 . Ive pulled other vehicles quite some way with my gsr. I dont think the car would even know it was pulling a load of kayaks and gear. Just be mindful of the load on the hitch itself. You dont want that to be over 150lbs or it will affect handling. I.E.. Lifting of the front.

 

I looked it up on http://www.hitchmart.com and the civic hitch is 89 dollars and tongue weight is 200 lbs with a gross weight of 2000 should do you very well for the job at hand. Bad news is they dont have a ls listed. Im hoping the civic will fit or someone else makes one for the ls. Also they have the wiring kit listed also. The integra and civic have the same capacity by the way. I know someone would see my last post and say well you have an integra with a bigger engine or something of the sort.

 

my local uhaul has them for 140 installed 100 do it your self
