Default 1987 civic sedan lx tranny into 1991 auto sedan

I got an 87 tranny for free, can i swap that onto my 91 ex auto? thanks guys...

i dont think so. if it were 88-00 yes. any d trany will fit with any d motor from 88-00

No, it won't. The 1984-1987 Civic is completely different from the 1988-1991.
