Default Turn Signal Bulb issue!

I have a 98 EX coupe and I recently installed a set of aftermarket black housing headlights and I have been trying to find a set of amber turn signal bulbs to put in there since I don't want any trouble with the law. I've had absolutely no luck finding a set of amber turn signal bulbs for the 96-98 Civic. All I've been able to find is clear, but I have seen amber bulbs for the 99-00 civic Si's and was wondering if they would fit in my headlights? I don't really want to waste money or hassle with removing the bumper to find out that they dont fit. But if they do please let me know.
Please don't suggest painting them either. lol lol
Thanks in advance

^I have taken my stock bulb out and taken it to Kragen/PepBoys/Napa/Autozone trying to find any amber bulb that looked like it would fit, with absolutely no luck! I think I will look for the stock amber bulb for a 99-00 Civic Si to see if it works, If it doesnt I'll definately take you up on your offer. It's so funny that you mention Dodge because someone on SHO mentioned that they heard that the bulb from a Caravan works, but wasnt 100% sure.

Yeah!! The amber turn signal bulbs from the 99-00 Si Civic do fit in the 96-98 Civic coupe turn signal housing. The bulb number that I used was #1157. They are a litter bigger than the stock #3496 bulb but they do fit in the socket and the socket hole.

yea u dont need to remove front bumper to get out the corner bulbs on a 6th gen(i have a 97 civic and i have done this)

go inside your wheel well, and pull back the black cover behind the bumper...and if u turn the wheel inside towards the car (if ur doing the right side, and vice versa)see if u can get ur hand in there to turn the socket and pull out..takes time but beats the hell outta taking ur front bumper off
