I was talking to a friend today, and he said that his friend but camshafts from a b18b into his b18a1 and notice a bit of a torque difference. I wanted to kno if anyone else has done this or if it is even worth it.
Is anything gained?

I'm not 100% educated on this subject but i HIGHLY doubt it.

First off your friend said he noticed a torque diffrence. Is that a real dyno or is that is butt dyno talking? The b18b cams are very slightly more aggressive than b18a cams.So any torque increase would be extremely small if at all.
b18b cams have more duration and the heads are a lil diff.

Maybe you should update that to say turbo or bust.....even a B18A puts down pretty decent power with 23lbs of boost.

no they are not honda changed the cams slightly through the years
90-91 b18a only produced 130hp and 121 tq...due to smaller cams and a contrictive IM
92-93 b18a produced 140hp and 126tq....with the larger cams and better flowing IM
94+ b18b got a bump to 142hp and 127tq with the increase in the cam size
