While the correct screwdriver will help, applying antisieze to it WILL NOT.

they don't pop out they have to be unscrewed. Try some PB Blaster and an impact driver. I used vice grips on mine because I broke the impact driver bit on mine trying to get them out

If you are tring to get the bumper off their is no point in taking those out, just get the bolts that hold the bumper support on and the whole thing will come right off.... Its only 4 bolts instead of all those PITA ones

Those 5 bolts will still need to come off in order to get the bumper off. There is no other way around it. They aren't hard to get off if you use the right tool.

for all of you that think you can pop them out like an EK, no. they are screw in fasteners.
if you think you can take the bumper off by taking off the support, no. the support does not secure the bumper on an EG in any way.
use a pair of vise grips and grab the side of the fastener. you can also heat the fastener slightly and tap on it with a ball peen hammer to loosen it from the threads. short of that, you will need to grind/ drill the fastener out.

Vice grips worked for me! The screws were too rusted and shitty for me to reuse them anyway. I put the 3 that were still good back in and chucked the other 2.

Impact screwdriver, $20 at Sears. It'll save you many a headache on many a job. Also, feel free to bolt-and-washer those rat bastards afterwards as there's no reason to have those special Honda flat-tops in there as all they do is rust to the core support and make life difficult

Word. Replace the screws with a metric bolt. It will save headaches in the future. If you can, put a rubber isolator in there like the stock ones to prevent your bolts from coming loose.

i had this problem. just do this get a drimel or die grinder and cut a grove in the screws and use a flat head to get them out. works like a charm.
