Ok so me and my friend are swaping a h22 into a 93 prelude. It originally had a 23 with a blown piston and the head was off so we hooked the hoist to some head bolts in the block and pulled it right out. now we have the 22 but we can only find two points to attach the hoist due to the head still being on this one. Please don't give me **** about searching cause i ran like 10 different serches and came up with nothing that i needed. If you can be as specific as possible that would be awesome and pictures would be really apreciated. We are this -- close to paying someone to just put the engine in. The points that we have are a bolt hole in the block in the front and that front hoisting bracket. so basically we need rear points to get it level to drop in. and to give you an idea of what we are dealing with, It is a complete engin with trans and intake manifold. Please help us we are desprate. Thanks in advance,
Nick.

Here is where i hooked my chain too on the tranny, there is a loop bracket bolted to the tranny

On the front of the engine, cant miss it.

theres only two points that Honda suggets hooking up a hoist to. One is the front hoist mount. This is on the Power steering bracket. The second is on the tranny next to the VSS. The engine isnt gonna be to level. It may lean i bit back and crooked. What i did to egt the engine to lean straight up in down was used rope and tied a piece to the half shaft and up to the chain link. Then i put a rope connected to the thermostat thing infront of the engine( where the top radiator hose connects to the block. I tied that end the same as the other rope. U will have to put it on the ground a couple of times and get it real level as much as possible. from there u will have to slide the tranny side in...as deep in as possible. Bring back up the tranny side ONLY,while simultaneously dropping th driver side down. Its nto as diffecult as it seems but good luck.

Ok we are going to try that rope thing hopefully this week. We have also had the idea of wraping it in towing straps to get it level. the new semester starts this week so hopefully we will have time to do it. Thanks for the replies and if anyone else has anything else to add it will be very much apreciated. Thanks.
