Default In over my freakin head / Winshield replacement

Ok so I have just started with the most stripped tub I could find but I am finding that I know nothing about winshield replacement. I got this tub and the windshield was toast so I broke out the rest of it to find that around the edges, the glass chunks hold on really well to this rubber strip that I have found also holds on really well to the sill. Is there a good way to remove all of the above? I have been working at it with a screwdriver but it seems alot like pissing in the wind. Any Ideas or info would be welcome.

use a wire band(speaker wire with the plastic peeled off) and get it under the weather stripping/ window seal and pull that bitch out.

warning: wear gloves

Also let the car sit in the sun all day to soften up the weatherstip. Use a heat gun/hairdryer to help even more.

Right on, its been raining here for 3 weeks straight so sunlight is out of the question but I will try the speakerwire trick. sounds like it would help.

thanks
