Default 4x114.3 96 Spec Type R Conversion on DC2

hey, well I know there is no performance gain by doing this but I wanted to do a 4x114.3 96 spec itr conversion onto my 4x100 gsr because I like the rims that came with the 96 itr. I was wondering what parts I need and what parts can be kept from my 94 gsr for this conversion, like brake lines and axles, etc. Searched for a write-up and stuff but couldnt really come up with 4x114.3 topics in general. Thanks in advance.

its pretty much the same as a gsr/ls suspension , just the bolt pattern is 4x114 . so aside from the lug pattern you can still use all of your gsr/ls suspension parts .

yeap its exactly the same...youll switch out your hub and knuckles for the 96 spec ones. You can keep your stock brake cables as well when you swap everything over. Its pretty much straight forward. The only problem I ran into is that the 4x114 doesnt have plugs for your abs in the rear...I ended up zip tieing my harness to my sway bar

I did the same conversion. basically what he said..you can use the brakelines axles... i also found out that the rears didn't have abs.. you might want to check and see if you can get yours matched with abs... i recently went back to 4x100 for a specific set of rims and i'm using the brake calipers that came with the ITR conversion! There are ALOT of choices with the 4x114. you can come up on alot of nice wheels for a cheaper price also...i'd prolly do that swap again if i don't do a five lugger

So would this be a good budget brake upgrade if you use prelude v-tec brakes? I would like larger brakes on my integra and then put my integra brakes on my CRX, but I don`t want to spend too much, or have a theft target.
