Default Question about D16A6, D15B8 & D15B7

Ok I currently have a 1990 Civic Si and there is a serious problem with the motor in it right now. I believe the crankshaft bearings have gone bad as it is making a horrible noise coming from the lower part of engine. I’m pretty sure it’s inside the engine because I checked everything in the area (water pump and timing belt) and everything in that area seems fine.

My question is that I have a D15B8 engine sitting at my house and a D15B7 head also. I was wondering if I would be able to put the D15B7 head on the D15B8 block and keep the D16A6 intake in the car for easier removal.

I know it would be easier to just go buy another D16A6 but time, money and space (need to get the Si out of my back yard to make room for my CRX) are limited and I just need the car running to get it out for right now. I was also wondering if I would need to do any wiring and would I be able to use the stock PM6.

So will this setup work just for daily driving and would I need to change anything?

if the b8 is the hf engine(i think it is) then you can't put the b7 head on bcuz the b8 pistons only have 8 valve reliefs and the b7 head has 16 valves

the B8 is out of a CX and I think it has 16 valve reliefs, not total sure but from what I've read it has 16.
