ef mini me
i have a 91 d16a6 block with a 93 d15b head i just wanted to know what parts i need to change in order for my car to run properly... oh yeah i have a 91 civic si... holla front!

Just thought I'd save him the trouble of doing the swap, only to fail smog . . .

If you do a full OBD-1 Conversion it will pass the sniffer.
Spray your engine with a light coat of WD-40 then drive up and down a dusty road so the engine and bay are TOTALLY filthy, tell the smog tech you installed a 92-95 EX engine (which is legal in CA) they won't rub the dirt and oil off the block number.

Depends where you go. I'd bet most techs would be ready to check the block code as soon as they heard the word "swap." He's better off just installing a complete D16Z6.
