My CRX does not start every morining. Distributer is fine and motor turns fine but does not start. A "toc toc ..." sound comes occationsly when trying to start. Usually starts after trying for about 10 times. After that it starts perfectly fine just with a single click and no "toc toc " sound.

Checked the spark and they look fine.

Please help.

 

Sounds like your starter is going. Rebuild/replacement time?

Yep, as long as your solenoid is still good and the starter is Nippon Denso then you can rebuild it. About 15 mins to 1/2 hours time depending on tools available

But starter turns fine and motor turns well everytime I try to start. In fact after a painful start, car starts fine every time unless it is stopped for 4-5 hours.

 

She is still sleeping.

 

Check your EAC or EACV valve i have the same problem on my 90 si
